On Pj’s recent trip to Rio to work at the 2016 Olympic Games, she got to know some interesting people with whom she might otherwise not have crossed paths.

Meet Bianca Jhordao; a Brazilian singer/songwriter/musician who has three albums to her credit and a career that has included live event work, concerts, touring, television and now producing.

Bianca achieved a degree of notoriety in Rio when she wrote and performed a song called Let’s Get Into It at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Centre advising spectators to wear sunscreen, stay quiet and drink plenty of water. Sports Illustrated called the catchy tune the Song of the Summer.

In the first decade of the 21st century, Bianca enjoyed success with her band called Leela, winning MTVs most promising new band in 2005. Leela was also chosen to be the opening act for Avril Lavigne on the Brazilian leg of her international tour.

The conversation in this podcast starts at Bianca’s childhood and meanders through her touring days with her different bands to her life as a Mom. Connect with Bianca on social media: @leelaoficial or @biancajhordao on Twitter and Instagram or you can search for her on Facebook.com/leelaoficial.
