One early morning before work, Pj and Cheryl Stuart met in a quiet office at George Brown College to record this podcast. The week before, these two strangers had been in a cafeteria line and struck up a conversation. It was on the strength of this conversation that Pj decided to ask Cheryl if she would be willing to talk about her life’s work as a college professor training people to work in gerontology.

With degrees in social work, nursing and a Master’s in Education, Cheryl’s skills were a natural fit for her work in gerontology. She started the program at George Brown College where she prepares students for work in the field.

There are so many aspects in caring for the older members of our communities. In this podcast, Cheryl’s passion for her work highlight the importance of caring for the elderly and the challenges that go along with it.
