Pj got the chance to sit down recently with Kitchener Waterloo Skating Club ice dance coach Rebecca Babb. Becky and brother Josh were Canadian Junior Dance champions in 1998 and went on to compete internationally for Canada in the senior ranks for the following two years until their retirement. Along the way, Becky has been lucky enough to be at the start of two noteworthy Canadian ice dance teams: Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir and Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje. She is a wife and mom to three young children and keeps herself busy on and off the ice.

This is an interesting conversation focusing on the demands placed on competitive skaters and de-mystifying the world of ice dance. If you want more information about Becky Babb – follow her on Twitter @RebeccaBabb1 or look for her on the KWSC website.
